Abba House Jewelry is made by young men rescued from forced prostitution in Thailand. They create jewelry and are paid a living wage so they do not have to continue to sell their bodies for a bowl of rice. Some also attend night school to learn new trades but those that are not literate will create jewely for a much longer period of time. Donations received for jewelry help to fund Abba House Foundation in Chiang Mai, Thailand. No jewelry is made by children under the age of 15. All profits go back into the ministry of Abba House Foundation.
Jewelry is distributed in the United States by volunteers. Currently the jewelry is shown at church functions and home parties. Periodically, jewelry is available on EBay's MissionFish.org site under the Abba House Foundation charity. Donations in exchange for jewelry are not tax deductible.
